I was born in Washington D.C. and grew up in Takoma Park, MD. I have a B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Finance and a M.B.A. from George Washington University in Finance. Before entering the seminary I worked in corporate accounting for a government contractor. I was ordained a priest in 2004 and have a M.Div. from Blessed John XXIII National Seminary. I was a Parochial Vicar at The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Washington, D.C. from June 2004-January 2007. Prior to being installed pastor at St. Nicholas, I was pastor at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Lexington Park, MD from January 2007-October 2011.

I was born in Detroit in 1933, entered the Society of Jesus in 1950, got my doctorate at Oxford in 1964, was ordained a priest in 1967, and taught at Fordham University in New York from 1968 to 1974, when I came to The Catholic University of America to be Professor of Biblical Greek and chair of the Department of Biblical Studies. I first came to St. Nicholas in January, 1975 to help Paul Norton with the Sunday Masses, and it has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

I was born in Wilmington, Delaware and graduated from LaSalle College in Philadelphia. When I moved to DC I began a career with the US Government. After formation in St. Joseph's Seminary I was ordained a Permanent Deacon in 1978 and began active ministries, including with the DC juvenile justice system, three hospitals and a number of nursing homes, as well as my own parish of St. Nicholas. My wife, Jean, and I have been blessed with two children and seven grandchildren.

Stuart Knazik, Music Ministry

Stu Knazik started taking music lessons in the first grade, and has been playing percussion and singing ever since. He studied music at Montgomery College and at Towson University. He directs the traditional choir at the 11:30 mass on Sundays and sings with the folk choir at 9:30 mass. Stu also directs the Stu-dio Singers a cappella group and volunteers in the community at Eleanor Roosevelt High School and at Laurel Mill Playhouse.
