Description
Children’s Church presents the Mass to our children in language that is easier for
them to understand. We take the children out just before the readings and bring them back to share
Eucharist with the rest of the parish. We follow the same format as the main congregation: Reading,
Responsorial Psalm, Gospel Acclamation, Gospel and Homily, Nicene Creed and Prayer of the Faithful.
The main difference is that the Homily is more of a discussion where we try to bring the God’s Word to
them in terms the children understand.
If you want to volunteer, but have limited time, just one Sunday a month is all it takes to show our
children how wonderful and meaningful the Mass can be!
